San Nicolas Ward Representation of Taiwanese Tribal Dance

Yesterday afternoon, we had our Relief Society Anniversary in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We had a great time. Their were six wards participating and each ward presented a song and dance number and have demonstrated delicious food respectively.

My ward, which is San Nicolas Ward, presented a song and dance number. We sung "Bi Ci Xiang Ai or Love One Another" afterwards a dance number of a traditional tribal dance of Taiwanese. With the help of each Relief Society in my ward we made a delicious Sushi.

Here are some of the pictures we had.

During our Homemaking activity. Sushi Making! :-)

Actually, we are trying to find out something here. Guess what? :-)

Picture from Sis. Jessica. I like the view of our table. :-)
.

Sister Nolasco made this yummy yummy sushi.

We took a group shot before activity start.

We sung "Bi Ci Xiang Ai" (彼此相愛) or Love One Another. We sound pretty good in Chinese.

Our performance was a representation of the same dance I saw when I was in Taiwan. Here's a video of our performance.

If you are interested with this song you can download it from here. I included lyrics in chinese romanization. Enjoy!

Chang Hui-mei (Chang, Hui Mei A-Mei) "站在高岗上"

Verdant rolling hills hundred miles long 呀
Towering arched like a barrier 呀 feed
Wear green mountains clouds 呀
White clouds lit the green 呀 feed
Verdant rolling hills hundred miles long 呀
站在高岗上 such as red makeup 呀 feed
Wear green mountains clouds 呀
There stood a lover 呀 feed
I 站在高岗上 distant look
That a vast expanse of green Baltic
You look down 站在高岗上
Who is to sing to you again and again to

Towering arched like a barrier 呀 feed
Wear green mountains clouds 呀
White clouds lit the green 呀 feed
